How to Finger Weave

To make a finger weave you need two things.  Yarn and patience.  To start off you take the the end of the string and hold it in your thumb in a sorta pinching grip.  Then you wrap the string in between your fingers back and forth two times.  After you do that you should have two lines of yarn on each finger. So take the string that is on the bottom of each finger and pull it over the top of the finger. Now you take more string (still connected) and put it in front of all the fingers.  Now take the bottom strings on each finger and pull them up and over your fingers.  Then you take the string again and put it in front of your fingers again and pull over the bottom line of yarn again.  You repeat this for about 15 to 20 times.  Then you pull the yarn on the back side of your hand.  (What you have created so far). It kinda should look like bars and maybe be twisting or curling too. And if you did it right there should be a little bit of string hanging out the end.  Take that string and tie the end of the weave so that the whole thing does not come apart.  And once you have done that then you can continue to make the weave by putting string in front of your fingers and pulling the string on the bottom of your fingers up and over.  If you want to stop you can just take the string off your fingers and tie it.  But if you want to stop but continue later you can take of the strings carefully and put a pencil or pen through the loops.
