Coud you just make the circle just get bigger and bigger to afghan size and then make the edge to make it rectangular?
I have the same question as Kimmie. I have a Captain America shield blanket, but I want to make it bigger than the 42" or so diameter that it is. I'd like to turn it into a rectangle after the shield part is complete.
I'm making the same afghan as Micki and would love to know how to make it square. Micki, I ended up making mine using a bigger needle and doubling the amount of rows the pattern called for.
